There is healing in Your Hands
You have opened the eyes of the blind
You have caused the lame to walk
You spoke “Ephphatha” (ef-ah-the) to the deaf and mute man
His tongue was loosed and his ears were opened
There is healing in You
Healing flowed throughout your garments
Blood was no longer that woman’s issue
The sick was healed between your tender palms and they recovered
Life was restored to the dead when you cried “Wake up. Rise.”
There is healing in your Hands
You have mended the hearts of the broken
Restored joy to the depressed
And delivered evil from the oppressed
You have filled the bellies of those who hungered
There is healing in You
To this day You are still healing
Lives are still being changed
There You stand meeting us right where we are, in our broken places
In this place we seek to find You
You are holding on to our weaknesses and carrying our burdens
In this place we need You
We need your healing
There is Restoration in your Hands
