About Me

Greetings and welcome to my blog! My name is Racquel High. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I am married to a loving and God-fearing U.S. Marine. I am also a mother of two handsome, wonderful and full of energy little boys. I have a very strong passion for my faith in Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Christian church and learned about Jesus. As I matured over the years, I began to develop a relationship with God for myself. My beliefs are that there is only one true God and Creator of all; that is Jesus Christ. God can reveal Himself in three distant manifestations as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe God wants everyone to have a personal relationship with Him. I enjoy journaling, discussing and studying the Bible, as well as writing poetry.

About Blog

The theme of this blog is about living a life of virtue and becoming Christ-centered. To live a virtuous life means to be righteous, pure, and upright. This is the life God calls His children to live. The purpose of this blog is to share my personal insights on faith and my life experiences. In “Diaries” you will find journal entries on life lessons in various moments of my life, marriage, motherhood, my thoughts on particular subjects and spiritual growth. Edification is also included for my audience. In “Meditation” you will be renewed and refreshed as we meditate on the loving promises of God. Together, we will focus on clearing our thoughts, reading short scriptures, and self application. In “Poetry” you will find free-verse poems, rhythmic writings, and Spoken Word that are fully Holy Spirit inspired.

  • I would like to add that everyone’s relationship with the Lord can be unique. During my personal times of prayer, worship, and conversations with the Lord , I sometimes refer to Him by His other names. The names of God reflects His divine attributes. Because this is a personal blog, you may occasionally find me referring to Jesus as ” Abba, The Most High, Adoni, Elohim, and Yah” (just to name a few). I pray this site will bless and encourage you to live a life of Christ-centered virtue. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ˜Š
